The humanitarian relief organisation SSFCE - Swiss Student Fund for Children Empowerment conducts dental and medical projects in children's homes of Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos and SOS Children's Villages (focus Latin America), and supports projects in Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe. The aim is the comprehensive treatment and prevention of all children in the projects as well as the independent, sustainable medical and dental care of the children's villages through the establishment of a clinic on-site and the collaboration and empowerment of the medical staff and the local dentist as well as by providing vocational training in medical and dental work to youths. The humanitarian projects are financed through donations; the executive committee as well as the students and doctors on-site do their work honorarily.
